Limited Warranty

Effective September 4, 2026

This Limited Warranty applies to Smart Putting Gate products manufactured and sold by GRASP ("GRASP," "we," "us," or "our"), including the Smart Putting Gate and hardware components originally supplied with the product (collectively, the "Product").

By purchasing or using a GRASP Smart Putting Gate, you acknowledge the terms of this Limited Warranty.

1. Limited Hardware Warranty

GRASP warrants to the original purchaser that, under normal and intended use, the Smart Putting Gate will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of delivery ("Warranty Period").

If GRASP determines that a covered hardware defect exists during the Warranty Period, GRASP will, at its option:

  1. 1.Repair the defective Product or component;
  2. 2.Replace the defective Product or component with a new or refurbished Product or component of the same or functionally equivalent type; or
  3. 3.If GRASP determines that repair or replacement is not commercially reasonable, provide another remedy as GRASP determines appropriate or as required by applicable law.

A refurbished Product or component means a Product or component that has been restored to proper operating condition and GRASP specifications.

Repair or replacement under this Limited Warranty is the customer's exclusive warranty remedy, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

2. What Is Covered

This Limited Warranty applies to defects in materials or workmanship affecting the normal operation of the Smart Putting Gate.

Covered components generally include the non-consumable hardware originally supplied by GRASP as part of the Smart Putting Gate system, including, as applicable:

  • Smart Putting Gate housing and structural components;
  • Internal electronics;
  • Cameras and imaging hardware;
  • Laser hardware;
  • Sensors and related measurement hardware;
  • Internal communications and connectivity hardware; and
  • Other non-consumable electronic or mechanical components incorporated into the Smart Putting Gate.

Coverage applies only when the Product has been used, stored, transported, maintained, and operated in accordance with GRASP's published instructions and documentation.

3. What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage, failure, degradation, or malfunction resulting from circumstances other than defects in materials or workmanship.

Examples of items and circumstances not covered include:

  • Accidental damage, impact, drops, crushing, or other physical damage;
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling;
  • Use of the Product outside its intended purpose or operating conditions;
  • Improper installation, setup, maintenance, cleaning, transportation, or storage;
  • Damage caused by golf clubs, golf balls, carts, vehicles, equipment, or other external objects;
  • Water intrusion, flooding, or exposure to moisture beyond the Product's published operating specifications;
  • Fire, lightning, power surges, extreme temperatures, severe weather, natural disasters, or other events outside GRASP's reasonable control;
  • Damage caused by improper electrical connections, chargers, power supplies, or accessories;
  • Unauthorized modification, alteration, disassembly, opening, or repair of the Product;
  • Repairs or attempted repairs performed by anyone not authorized by GRASP;
  • Use with unauthorized or incompatible third-party hardware, accessories, software, or services where such use causes or contributes to the failure;
  • Cosmetic damage that does not materially affect Product functionality, including scratches, dents, discoloration, or ordinary wear;
  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Consumable or replaceable items that naturally degrade through use;
  • Loss or theft of the Product;
  • Products with removed, altered, defaced, or unreadable serial numbers or other identifying information; or
  • Damage occurring during shipment to GRASP when the Product is not packaged according to GRASP's return instructions.

The Smart Putting Gate is designed for golf training and may be used outdoors when operated in accordance with GRASP's published instructions. Outdoor use by itself does not void this warranty.

4. Batteries, Accessories, and Third-Party Products

Unless GRASP expressly states otherwise in writing, consumable components and accessories that naturally degrade through normal use are not covered by the full one-year hardware warranty.

Products manufactured by third parties and supplied or recommended for use with the Smart Putting Gate, including tablets, mobile devices, chargers, cases, network equipment, or other third-party accessories, may be subject to the applicable manufacturer's warranty rather than this Limited Warranty.

GRASP does not extend or modify any third-party manufacturer's warranty.

5. Software, Data, and Subscription Services

This Limited Warranty applies to hardware only.

GRASP software, applications, cloud services, data services, firmware, user interfaces, subscriptions, and other digital services are not warranted under this hardware Limited Warranty.

Software and services may be subject to separate terms of service, subscription terms, software license terms, or other agreements.

GRASP does not warrant that software or connected services will operate without interruption or error at all times. Temporary outages, connectivity issues, software bugs, compatibility issues, updates, maintenance, or interruptions to third-party networks or services do not constitute a hardware defect under this Limited Warranty.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

6. Measurement and Performance

The Smart Putting Gate is a precision golf training and measurement device. Performance may be affected by environmental conditions, setup, alignment, lighting, surface conditions, connectivity, ball characteristics, user operation, and other factors.

Variations in measured values that fall within GRASP's published specifications or expected measurement tolerances are not considered defects.

A disagreement between GRASP measurements and measurements produced by another device, system, application, or measurement methodology does not by itself establish a Product defect.

7. Warranty Eligibility

To receive warranty service, GRASP may require:

  • The Product serial number;
  • Proof of purchase or order information;
  • The purchaser's name and contact information;
  • A description of the issue;
  • Photos, videos, diagnostic information, logs, or other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the issue; and
  • Completion of troubleshooting steps requested by GRASP Support.

GRASP may remotely diagnose or troubleshoot the Product before authorizing a return.

This Limited Warranty is provided to the original purchaser of the Product and is not transferable unless GRASP expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

8. Obtaining Warranty Service

If you believe your Smart Putting Gate has a covered defect, contact GRASP Support at:

contact@grasptechnology.com

Please provide your Product serial number, purchase information, and a description of the issue.

GRASP Support may first attempt to resolve the issue remotely through troubleshooting, diagnostics, software or firmware updates, configuration changes, or other support procedures.

If GRASP determines that the Product must be returned for inspection or service, GRASP will provide return instructions and, where applicable, a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA").

Products should not be returned to GRASP without prior authorization.

9. Shipping for Warranty Service

Products returned for warranty service must be packaged securely in the original packaging or packaging that provides equivalent protection.

Unless GRASP provides a prepaid shipping label or otherwise agrees in writing, the customer is responsible for shipping the Product to the GRASP-designated service location.

If GRASP determines that the issue is covered by this Limited Warranty, GRASP will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement Product back to the customer within the continental United States.

If GRASP determines that the Product is not covered by warranty, the customer may be responsible for diagnostic, repair, replacement, and return-shipping costs. GRASP will communicate applicable charges before performing paid repair work.

International shipping, duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, or similar costs may be the customer's responsibility unless GRASP agrees otherwise in writing.

10. Repair and Replacement Products

Products or components repaired or replaced under this Limited Warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original Warranty Period.

GRASP may use new, refurbished, reconditioned, or functionally equivalent components when performing warranty service.

Replacement Products may differ cosmetically from the original Product but will provide substantially equivalent functionality.

Any Product or component replaced by GRASP may become the property of GRASP.

GRASP may require the customer to return the defective Product or component as a condition of receiving a replacement.

11. Data and Customer Responsibility

Before returning a Product for service, customers should preserve or back up any information they wish to retain where applicable.

Warranty service may require resetting, updating, replacing, or reconfiguring the Product. GRASP is not responsible for loss of locally stored settings, configurations, recordings, or other data resulting from warranty service except to the extent such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Customers are responsible for removing personal accessories and items not requested by GRASP before shipping a Product for service.

12. Unauthorized Repairs and Modifications

The Smart Putting Gate contains precision optical, electronic, mechanical, and measurement components.

Opening, disassembling, modifying, servicing, or repairing the Product by anyone other than GRASP or a GRASP-authorized service provider may void warranty coverage to the extent the unauthorized activity causes or contributes to the claimed defect or prevents GRASP from reasonably evaluating or servicing the Product.

Customers experiencing hardware problems should contact GRASP Support before attempting repairs.

13. Disclaimer of Other Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED BY GRASP FOR THE SMART PUTTING GATE.

EXCEPT FOR THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND ANY WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE EXCLUDED, GRASP DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, AND REPRESENTATIONS, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE EXTENT AN IMPLIED WARRANTY CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE DURATION OF THAT IMPLIED WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GRASP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PRODUCT OR THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, USE, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GRASP'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO A PRODUCT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by applicable law.

15. State and Consumer Rights

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have additional rights that vary by state, province, territory, or country.

Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, warranty, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

Where any provision of this Limited Warranty conflicts with applicable law, that provision will apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

16. No Modification by Representatives

No GRASP employee, representative, reseller, distributor, dealer, or other third party is authorized to modify, extend, or expand this Limited Warranty unless the modification is expressly approved in writing by an authorized representative of GRASP.

Statements made by sales representatives, distributors, resellers, or other parties do not create additional warranties unless expressly incorporated into a written agreement with GRASP.

17. Entire Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty represents GRASP's warranty obligations for the Smart Putting Gate and supersedes prior statements concerning hardware warranty coverage unless a separate written agreement signed by GRASP expressly provides otherwise.

GRASP may update this Limited Warranty from time to time. The warranty terms applicable to a Product are the terms in effect on the date the Product was originally purchased, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
