PGA Tour Winners Ben Griffin and Ryan Gerard Join Grasp Technology

Grasp Technology's Smart Putting Gate (SPG) is quickly becoming the new standard for capturing putting data at the game's highest level. Today, Grasp is proud to announce PGA Tour stars Ben Griffin and Ryan Gerard as the company's first Athlete Ambassadors. Both players have fully integrated the SPG into their daily practice routines and tournament preparation.

The Smart Putting Gate is exactly that: a gate. It sets up in any environment, indoors or outdoors, and accurately captures ball speed, launch direction, and point of impact simply by putting a ball through the gate. No putter attachments are needed, all data is collected with a series of lasers and cameras.

Ben Griffin, fresh off three wins in 2025, has continued to contend at the game's biggest events.

Ryan Gerard has posted multiple top-10 finishes since introducing the SPG into his routine, Gerard's performance has skyrocketed. Gerard led the field Strokes Gained: Putting in back-to-back weeks at Colonial and The Memorial. Gerard is currently 28th in Strokes Gained Putting on TOUR in 2026. He finished the 2025 season 154th.

While the technology is currently optimizing tour pros, Grasp's ambitions reach well beyond the professional ranks. With an upcoming public release, the Smart Putting Gate and its proprietary software will soon be available to all golfers serious about lowering their scores.
